I picked up a few magazines over the weekend, but best of all was the latest edition of Foam Magazine, which was delivered on Thursday.
This is such an incredible photography magazine. If you’re at all interested in photography (and I guess you must be, if you’re reading this) then you really need to be buying this and supporting the work they’re doing. The team at Foam go to a lot of effort to present contemporary photography in the best possible way, even going as far as to print each portfolio on a different type of paper.
It’s always a joy when a new issue comes out. This time, I was particularly pleased to see the inclusion of Chris Jordan’s “Message from the Gyre” series (the Albatross chicks killed by the plastic their parents had unwittingly fed them). Powerful stuff.
