Well, I’m back from a fantastic camping trip, in which the British weather actually behaved and we were granted acceptable conditions for sleeping under canvas.
I arrived home to a stack of new books and hundreds of unread emails. Slowly working through these, I came across this announcement from Café Royal Books which I wanted to share with you:
Café Royal Books are curating an exhibition / library, of short run / independently published art books and zines. The event will take place over two weeks in November in Preston, UK. The library already includes over 200 limited edition publications.

This sounds essential for anyone interested in self/independently published books and has got me thinking about the feasibility of a similar event in the Midlands.
